TIPS HOW TO CULTIVATE HYDROPONIC KANGKUNG

Who in Indonesia is not familiar with kale? In every food stall, restaurant, to the food court, it is very easy to find kale or in the city. To be eaten at home, people usually just buy these kede vegetables at vegetable stalls and even vegetable shops.

This vegetable plant is very easy to care for, you know. You don't need a large enough yard to grow kale. you can do it hydroponically. With hydroponics you need quite large hydroponic shelves. Not really. You can simply use a plastic basin and besek. Pretty easy and cheap right?

Good kale seeds are planted directly in planting polybags or you can also sow them first. if sown first, after sowing it will be moved to a hydroponic system that has assembled the basin racks. then the method used is basin hydroponics, then the process of sowing the seeds is done directly.

by placing it on the basin and remembering the besek should be a little bigger. Water is poured until it touches the bottom of the basin. use clean water that is PPM 0, such as air conditioning waste water and clean water. Then, the seeds are sown evenly into the besek. If the holes are bigger than the seeds, you can add paper towels to the bottom of the besek. Place in the shade until the seeds develop, then dry in the sun.

Then how to provide nutrition for this kale plant? Giving fertilizer to kale is also no different from fertilizers for most plants. If I use hydroponic nutrients from cd mix fertilizer. prepare as much water as needed 1 bucket according to the use of fertilizer. use a ratio of 1:5:5 and apply multiples. add stock C or stock D then mix well. Fertilizer water has been prepared to be used for various hydroponic systems in the basin until it touches the plastic bottom.

During maintenance, I only need to pay attention to the need for water spinach fertilizer and don't let the kale not get fertilizer from the water solution below it. the plant is 3 weeks old, the concentration in the solution increases. I increased the amount of fertilizer from 5 ml per 1 liter to 8-10 ml per liter. with a fertilizer solution if it smells. And so on until entering the harvest.
