CARA MEMBUAT NGOHIONG / HOW TO MAKE NGOHIONG

 Ngohiong

300 gr ground chicken

200 gr chopped prawns

1/2 chopped onion

4 crushed garlic

2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons of sesame oil

2 tablespoons fish sauce

1/2 teaspoon beef flavoring

1/2 teaspoon ngohiong powder

Pepper to taste

4 tablespoons cornstarch

1 egg

1 large sheet of tofu skin


How to make :

  1. Put all the ingredients
  2. prepare tofu skin already cut into squares (size according to taste).
  3. Prepare warm water in a wide plate
  4. Hold the tofu skin on the left and the right side, put in warm water (just dip it)
  5. Tofu skin must remain in the shape of a box, do not stick to each other or it will crumble.
  6. Put the meat into the tofu skin and wrap it.
  7. Heat the steamer
  8. Lined with banana leaves / aluminum foil. put the ngohiong on it and rub it with sesame oil.
  9. steam for 40 minutes.
  10. After it cools down, it's ready to be fried and served

nb: and you can add chopped carrots/scallions too
