Sand is used when the land hermit crabs are able to dig sand burrows, snail shells are used for changing shells when newer land hermit crabs are experiencing growth.
Next, provide 3 containers, one container filled with fresh water, one container filled with saltwater, and one for feed containers.
For food for land hermit crabs, friends can provide food in the form of vegetables or fruits. Don't forget friends to give cuttlefish bone flakes to meet calcium needs. Friends can get cuttlefish bones by buying them at the Bird Feed shop.
