Sharks are Animal Species belonging to the Class Chondrichthyes, or Superorder Selachimorpha.

Of the many species of sharks, there is the smallest shark in the world, namely the Small Lantern Shark Species (Etmopterus Perryi) which is only 8 cm long. While the largest shark is the whale shark (Rhincodon typus) the largest can reach approximately 18 meters in length.

Exports are prohibited based on the circular letter of the director of KKHL No. 2078/PRL.5/X/2017. with bycatch with Article 73 of the Ministerial Decree No. KP. 30 of 2012 Permen KP No. 26 of 2013 concerning capture fisheries business in WPP NRI must be released, according to Chapter X Article 39 of Ministerial Regulation KP No. 12 of 2012 capture fisheries business at sea. In addition, in 2009 the IOTC resolution 10/12 of 2009 on the protection of rat sharks.
* Monkey Shark (alopias superciliosus)
